Challenge

16 novice rowers from Discovery Networks leadership team took on the challenge of a lifetime, a 25km 'Ocean to City' Rowing race in Cork. Each had their own reason to take on this challenge but all were united in raising funds to support NSPCC Childline.

Inspire

An intense six month programme of gym and on the water training, coupled with coaching sessions from elite athletes and thought leaders, saw the team progress from novices to a competent and very fit crew. 

Deliver

It was an incredible achievement by the Discovery team. Their senior leadership team brought great professionalism, tenacity and teamwork to the programme. Both crews achieved their goals in Cork, completing the race in a superb time, and raising over £55,000 for NSPCC Childline. Well done Discovery Networks.
